Printing Duplicate Reports

Easily print duplicate file reports using the built-in print, print setup, and print preview capabilities of Duplicate File Detective.

Once a duplicate file search completes, the printed report follows the report on screen - the columns you chose, arranged in the order you arranged them, sorted the way you sorted them, with duplicate groups kept intact. Print preview lets you page through the result before committing it to paper, and print setup gives you control over the destination printer, paper size, and orientation. Wide duplicate reports generally read best in landscape.

Printing isn't limited to the main report, either. The duplicate file types and duplicate file owners detail views carry their own print buttons, as do the Top File Types and Top Duplicate Owners charts - so a storage review meeting can be handed the summary and the supporting detail together.

Prefer to distribute a duplicate file report electronically? The export function writes the same results to PDF for sharing, to Excel or CSV for further analysis, and to HTML for publishing on an intranet - and a scheduled task can email one automatically on whatever cycle you choose.
